What's a Beer Style?
Beer Styles are groupings for beers, which based on how it's made, ingredients, recipe, history, and/or origin.
Here at Brewdly, we do our best to try and use the Styles listed from the Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP).
The two main Beer Styles are Lagers and Ales, but there are also Mixed Styles, and Meads & Ciders (which technically are not beers).
Each of these are broken down into more distinct styles, and some of those are further broken down into substyles.
In total there are 96 different styles of beers to choose from
